Making Friends with you own Anger. I don’t get mad anymore. Most of you reading this will say I am full of crap. Well, it is true and here is why. I have reprogrammed myself to look at things that upset me differently. Things that use to make me mad now make me laugh. As an example I will use standing in line at stores. I am a shopper that gets in gets out. Standing behind slow people use to really make me mad. A couple months ago I got behind a lady at my least favorite store in the world Walmart. (Nothing personal to Walmart of course.) Anyway, this lady in front of me use her bank card and it only paid about 1/4 of the total bill. In her purse she managed to scrap up another 1/4 of the total bill. Then item by item taking off the bill matched the money she had on her. In the past I would have lost it when the card did not cover the bill, not to mention all the other after. I learned to separate things that upset me and my anger. Once you start to figure out why things upset you, you can focus on fixing or let go of the reason it makes you mad. Once you have learned to separate them you will realize there is no reason to get mad anymore.
